Details 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Weekend coverage required on an as-needed basis No on-call requirements 13-week contract Med/Surg unit serving a broad patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics 265-bed regional referral center in Southwest Oklahoma Requirements Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required Current BLS certification (AHA) required NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required; candidates without an active copy may still be reviewed All certifications must be active at time of consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include patient assessment, nursing diagnosis, care plan development, and leadership in maintaining professional nursing practice standards Nursing travelers begin orientation on Thursdays Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for placement at a reduced rate Former direct employees of this facility must wait at least 6 months after their last day of direct employment before being eligible to return through an agency Maximum of 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the assignment American Traveler Job ID P-681846.
