Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - $1,944 per week

A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work night shifts on 3rd floor Medical Surgical unit • Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Weekend coverage required • Must clock in and out to receive payment • Care for adult and geriatric patients with daily census of 24 • Minimum 2 years RN experience required • Travel experience required • Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS preferred • WV or Compact license required (pending license acceptable) • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Flu vaccine required during October 2024 - March 2025 flu season • Any missed shift requires working a make-up shift during same work week or pay period • Must provide permanent home address greater than 100 miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case) • Skills include telemetry monitoring, IV insulin protocols, blood product administration, central line management, wound care, chest tubes, high flow nasal cannula, and isolation precautions • Previous charge experience preferred • LTAC experience preferred • Complete 8 hours of non-billable modules prior to start • Orientation every other Thursday with full file due Monday prior to start Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive medical surgical unit providing care for adult and geriatric patients.
