Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 15 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 15-week assignment with every other weekend required • Patient ratios of 1:6 on a 54-bed unit • No on-call responsibilities • Must float within scope to meet facility needs between like units • 2 years of Med Surg experience required • First-time travelers accepted • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • IV start skills required, telemetry and cardiac drip management experience preferred • 12 hours of orientation provided • Care for adult and geriatric patients with general Med/Surg diagnoses • Work with Epic charting system • Royal blue scrubs required • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks • May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November) • Block schedule requests can be submitted but not guaranteed • Free parking available in unrestricted spaces Facility: This acute care hospital features 119 total staffed beds and provides comprehensive medical and surgical services to the community.
