A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Peds Adult Stepdown Job Details: • Provide age-specific, direct patient care to pediatric and adult populations • Deliver nursing care utilizing the Nursing Process framework • Work within Department of Nursing Standards of Patient Care and Specialty Specific Standards • Assume leadership responsibilities including delegation of work to other staff levels • Ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulations, and policies governing healthcare provision • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS (or ENPC) must be active prior to contract start date • If certifications are not current, must have booked course at time of Clinical Orientation at beginning of assignment • Work in medical surgical stepdown unit caring for both pediatric and adult patients • Demonstrate clinical competency in stepdown level care and monitoring Facility: This healthcare organization provides comprehensive medical services with specialized units including medical surgical and stepdown care.
