Job Details — Travel Nursing Job (Med/Surg Telemetry RN) Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) / Telemetry Nurse Location: Albany, NY 12208 (Albany, Capital District, Upstate New York) Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse Start Date: March 2, 2026 End Date: April 21, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Night Shift Telemetry Nursing Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,250 Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs required EMR System: Epic (Epic EMR experience required) Job Requirements — Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (required) At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience in a 600 bed academic hospital with a passing competency testing score, OR 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience (no testing required) Epic EMR experience required (Epic experience preferred for travel nursing jobs) Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission (sent via email) Must be able to wear navy blue scrubs per hospital policy Local candidates from ineligible counties are not being accepted Responsibilities — Telemetry Nurse / Med-Surg RN Duties Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit (medical-surgical nursing, acute care) Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry data to ensure patient safety and timely clinical interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (physicians, RRTs, allied health) to develop and implement patient care plans Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in Epic EMR Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care and staffing needs Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment following hospital policies and clinical protocols Why join this travel nursing assignment?
