Details Works on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit (Pivot Unit) in an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12 EMR: Epic No weekend, float, or on-call requirements 13-week contract Requirements Active Arkansas RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS certification required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented) Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience required Valid U.S. Social Security Number required (Canadian SINs not accepted) No employment gaps of 90 days within the past 12 months Additional Information Must pass a medication and math competency test prior to assuming medication administration responsibilities, covering drug actions, side effects, dosage calculations, and IV problems The unit is fast-paced; upbeat and driven nurses are encouraged to apply Black scrubs required; open-toe shoes are not permitted Up to 5 days of RTO is allowed but must be made up during the assignment Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but subject to a reduced bill rate and a limit of 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation or reassignment outside the 50-mile radius is required American Traveler Job ID P-678936.
