Details Work in a medical-surgical telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45pm to 7:15am Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5 Floating required within scope to meet facility needs Every other weekend coverage required No on-call responsibilities Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active SC or compact RN license in hand prior to start Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias required SSN and driver’s license required for consideration Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must be separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Additional Information Royal blue scrubs are required for this position All clinical modules must be completed prior to start date First-time travelers will be considered Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a different rate All requested time off must be submitted up front and may be approved based on facility needs During hurricane season (June-November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response teams Free onsite parking is available American Traveler Job ID P-669880.
