Details Medical/Surgical unit (6N Irving) within a hospital setting Patient population consists primarily of stroke and medical patients Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour shifts) Every other weekend required 16-week contract Charting is performed in Epic Requirements Active NY RN license required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) — NIHSS must be obtained prior to start Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required Prior stroke care experience required Prior travel nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Resume with no gaps in work history required for consideration 2 professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration Additional Information Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local and subject to a different pay rate Any color scrubs are acceptable American Traveler Job ID P-676923.
