The position involves working on a Level 2 Obstetrics (OB) and nursery unit, providing comprehensive care in labor, triage, postpartum, and circulating during cesarean sections. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details: Location: Kokomo, Indiana Unit Description: Level 2 OB & Level 2 nursery with 8 labor beds; triages are conducted out of labor beds; 12 postpartum rooms; 4 special care nursery beds; 1 Obstetric Operating Room. Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; at least 0 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing; relevant certifications as applicable. Additional Information: The unit is a Level 2 OB and nursery unit with specific responsibilities including triage, postpartum care, and circulating during C-sections. Proper clinical skills in obstetrics are essential, and familiarity with Level 2 nursery procedures is preferred. Float: Float rotation may be required.
