Details Labor & Delivery unit within a 200-bed acute care hospital Patient ratio of 1:2 Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) Weekend availability required Floating between like units within the state is required Block scheduling available at manager's discretion Charts in Epic (experience required) Free on-site parking available Requirements Active CA RN license required — pending licensure will not be accepted Current certifications required: BLS and NRP Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required Epic EMR experience required Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted for this position All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial consideration — post-offer RTO requests may be denied Scrubs provided for L&D; RNs in other units wear solid royal blue Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility Travelers who refuse floating assignments may be subject to termination American Traveler Job ID P-686929.
