Job Details Job Title: Travel Labor & Delivery RN / L&D Registered Nurse / Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: Edmonds, WA 98026 (Edmonds, Washington; near Seattle; Puget Sound) Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026) Shift: Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (19:00 – 07:30) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Nurse, On-Site Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,940 – $2,040 Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 2 years of recent clinical experience in LDRP, Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care (Labor & Delivery RN, OB nurse, perinatal RN) Active Registered Nurse license (Washington state OR compact RN license) Required certifications: AWHONN Intermediate, BLS (AHA), Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP ACLS preferred Experience with Epic electronic charting system preferred Ability to float to related units (OB Triage, Antepartum, Postpartum, Newborn) as needed Responsibilities Provide comprehensive maternal-newborn care across Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, OB Triage, Antepartum, and Normal Newborn units Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries; circulate in OR and recover C-section patients (OB nurse duties) Start and maintain adult IVs, administer blood and blood products, and manage epidural and PCA pumps Administer and monitor insulin, magnesium sulfate therapies, anticoagulation, and antihypertensive management Perform sterile vaginal exams, pain assessment and management, and couplet care for mother and newborn Maintain central lines (CVC/PICC) when applicable and follow isolation precautions/PPE protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (OB physicians, anesthesia, neonatology, nursing colleagues) to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Enjoy working in Edmonds, WA—a welcoming city known for waterfront parks, a lively arts scene, and friendly neighborhoods.
