Details 13-week contract in a Labor & Delivery (Special Delivery) unit at a large academic medical center in Cleveland, OH Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts) Level III or IV Labor & Delivery unit Scrub and circulating experience required as part of the role Must work at least every other holiday Requirements Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (all must be active with nothing pending) Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Level III or IV Labor & Delivery setting, including scrub and circulating — travel experience is accepted Minimum of 18 months of permanent (staff) experience in Labor & Delivery prior to travel One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts allowed) No open background check cases; no license history hits accepted Additional Information Local candidates are accepted for this position Former permanent or per diem employees of Cleveland Clinic hospitals must wait at least 1 year from their previous end date before returning as a traveler Candidates must complete onsite fingerprinting and badge pickup at the facility prior to the start date, once all required modules are finished Pre-start orientation modules must be completed prior to the start date; average completion time is 6–15 hours BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing RTO requests must be discussed during the interview process Nurses are currently exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement Facial hair exemptions for PAPR use require an approved medical or religious exemption First-time travelers are not eligible for this position due to the permanent experience requirement American Traveler Job ID P-684701.
