Details Work in a 10-bed Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting Obstetrical patient population with ratios varying by stage of labor, ranging from 1:1 to 1:4 Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Weekends required No on-call responsibilities Floating may be required as needed Block scheduling requests cannot be accommodated Meditech EMR preferred; onsite training available for those without prior experience Requirements Active NC or compact state RN license required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum 1 year of clinical experience required Current BLS certification required Current NRP certification required Current ACLS certification required (must have been obtained within the last 6 months) CPI certification must be in hand prior to start Two professional references required for consideration PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Provides direct care to obstetrical patients, including assessment, medication administration, carrying out provider orders, evaluating treatment effects, and documenting care Communicates and collaborates with the care team to ensure continuity and quality of care Care is provided in adherence to all hospital policies and accreditation standards Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position No RTO will be honored for Easter or Memorial Day weekend RTO requests must be submitted at the time of offer American Traveler Job ID P-681939.
