Details Position is within a Diagnostic Imaging/Interventional Radiology department at an acute care hospital Responsibilities center around monitoring patients in the MRI department, including pacemaker programming for MRI compatibility Day shift schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (3x8-hour shifts) 24 hours per week No weekend requirements No on-call requirements Floating to different units or facilities may be required at the manager's request Requirements Active Illinois (IL) RN license currently in hand — no emergency or pending licensure accepted BSN required BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required Patient vitals monitoring experience required Radiology nursing experience preferred Additional Information Duties include monitoring patients in the MRI department, performing pacemaker programming for MRI, and administering medications for imaging exams Two references required for consideration, including at least one from a supervisor, manager, or charge RN within the past year All requested time off (RTO) must be documented at the time of initial consideration and cannot be added afterward Vaccination status must be provided at time of consideration Candidates living within 75 miles of the facility are accepted, though a local pay rate would apply American Traveler Job ID P-685636.
