A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available Opportunity: Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology Job Details: • Work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday • Varied 8-hour shifts starting from 7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, 8:30 AM, or 9:00 AM • On-call coverage after 5:00 PM daily and weekends with primary and backup call techs • Weekend call rotation shared among 6-7 staff members • 24 hours of orientation required • Must have neuro interventional experience required • Handle 15-20 cases daily in 3-room department • Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics • Perform stroke thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, aneurysm stenting, AVM embolization, and carotid stenting • Complete line access procedures including port placements, PICC placement, and dialysis catheter placement • Conduct peripheral and body angiography procedures • Required certifications: ARRT VI, ARRT R, BLS, SC Radiography State License • Skills required: Interventional Radiology, PACS, NICU, Peds, Trauma, ER • Epic charting system experience preferred • 1 year of experience minimum required • Trauma Level I experience preferred • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions • Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours • 1-year minimum experience with EPIC EMR required • May be required to float to other units per census needs Facility: This Level 1 Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center features a specialized Peripheral and Neuro Interventional Radiology Department. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation services. The department is equipped with Siemens IR rooms and treats patients of all ages, ethnicities, and genders with various chronic illnesses and trauma conditions.
