Details Acute care hospital setting within an Interventional Radiology (IR) unit Works with both outpatient and inpatient populations in an environment similar to a Cath Lab Experience with CT scans, interventional medicine, moderate sedation, PICC line placement, and anesthesia care Variable day shift schedule: 4x10s with shift start times of 7:00 AM–5:30 PM or 8:00 AM–6:00 PM Call required approximately one to two days per month, with 7-day call coverage per rotation EMR: Epic Requirements Active TX RN license or Compact (NLC) RN license required — must be active at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Interventional radiology or procedural nursing experience strongly preferred; ICU or ED experience considered in lieu of radiology background Active certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, and NIHSS — pending certifications not accepted Must be able to take call Must be flexible and adaptable to variable patient volume Driver's license required for consideration 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, each including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire Additional Information Responsibilities include providing nursing care for IR procedures, moderate sedation management, and supporting both scheduled outpatient cases and urgent inpatient needs Unit operates on a flexible schedule managed by an accommodating manager Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or CHI-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates previously employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered Paid daily parking is available on and off campus; monthly parking pass options are also available American Traveler Job ID P-684906.
