Ideal candidates are Registered Nurses (IR RN) with EPIC experience and strong vascular intervention skills who want to deliver high-quality, collaborative care in a Pacific Northwest setting. Job Details Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,230 - $2,350 per week Location: Everett, Washington (98201) — Everett, WA travel nurse opportunity Assignment Length: 13 weeks Setting: Level II Trauma Center – Interventional Radiology Unit (IR nurse role) Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 - 17:30) Hours per Week: 40 Start Date: April 13, 2026 Call Requirement: Yes (variable, includes evenings and weekends) — participation in IR call rotation required Guaranteed Hours: 70 hours per 2 weeks (traveler may be called off 1 shift per 2-week period) Caseload: Average of 18 cases per day Weekend Requirement: No scheduled weekends, but call coverage required Charting: EPIC (EPIC experience required) Scrub Color: Any (except reddish orange) Parking: Facility paid Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology RN (IR RN) experience — experience with vascular interventions preferred Active RN license (WA or Compact RN) Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Experience with EPIC electronic medical record system Proficiency in procedures such as angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, sheath removal/monitoring, and use of vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Strong skills in dysrhythmia interpretation/management, pressure ulcer assessment/prevention, and radiation/laser safety Ability to participate in call rotation as required (IR call) Must provide two supervisory references from the last three years Responsibilities Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures (IR nurse responsibilities) Assist with a variety of IR procedures, including angioplasty, stenting, embolization, and vascular interventions Monitor and manage patients before, during, and after procedures, including hemodynamic and dysrhythmia monitoring Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology technologists, pharmacy, and physicians Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC to support patient safety and continuity of care Participate in call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage of the IR lab Adhere to all safety protocols, including radiation and laser safety and vascular access precautions Float to similar units as needed, within your skill set Why Join Our Healthcare Team Opportunity to work in a collaborative Level II Trauma Center with advanced IR procedures Exposure to a high-volume IR caseload (average 18 cases/day) — strong professional development for IR nurses Everett, WA lifestyle — close to Puget Sound, parks, and a vibrant arts scene Facility-paid parking and supportive clinical teams Apply now to become an Interventional Radiology Travel Nurse (IR RN) in Everett, WA.
