A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - IR Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM on weekdays • On-call every 5th weekend with average of 5 days per month call requirement • 40 guaranteed hours per week • Patient ratio of 1:1 with adult and geriatric population • Minimum 2 years RN experience required with Interventional Radiology experience mandatory • First-time travelers allowed if they have Interventional Radiology experience • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association) • West Virginia or Compact nursing license required (pending license acceptable) • Perform special procedures including angiogram, fistulogram, permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization • Treat patients with diagnoses including CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, stenosis, AAA, stroke, and aneurysm • May be floated to General Lab CDL • Will not accommodate blocked schedules • Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-99 miles considered case-by-case) • Scrub color: Royal Blue/White • Chart using Cerner system • Orientation occurs every other Thursday with first 2 days in classroom setting followed by unit orientation • Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-6 hours prior to start date Facility: This healthcare facility is a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 total staffed beds.
