Details Interventional Radiology unit within a short-term acute care hospital (838 staffed beds), designated as a Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital (COTH member) Adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including CKD, CAD, PAD, PVD, stenosis, AAA, stroke, and aneurysm Specialized procedures include angiogram, fistulogram, permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, mechanical thrombectomy, and embolization 1:1 patient staffing ratio Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, 0730–1600 On-call rotation every 5th weekend Floating may be required to the CAMC General Lab CDL Charting is performed in Cerner Free parking available for travelers Requirements Active WV RN license or compact RN license required; may submit with a pending license but license must be active prior to start Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Interventional Radiology experience required Two manager or charge nurse references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1–March 31); a documented medical allergy verified by an allergist or physician is the only accepted exemption Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have Interventional Radiology experience Former permanent employees of this health system are not eligible to return as a traveler until 2 years after their last day of permanent employment Orientation begins on Thursdays (scheduled every other week); the first 2 days are classroom-based, followed by unit-based orientation Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; candidates residing between 75–99 miles may be submitted for facility approval Blocked/pre-requested schedules cannot be accommodated All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of profile submission COVID vaccination is not required Scrub color is royal blue or white for RNs American Traveler Job ID P-681018.
