Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,281 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 3-4 weekend shifts per month (Friday or Saturday nights) • Maintain 1:2 patient ratios on days, nights, and weekends • Float as needed per census - if pulled to another ICU maintain 2 patients, if pulled to telemetry unit take only 3 patients • Complete 24 hours of orientation • Work with adult patient population in 19-bed unit • Required certifications: NIHSS, ACLS, BLS • Strong neuro experience and previous travel experience required • Minimum 2 years of recent experience required • Epic charting system experience required • Must have Neuro ICU noted in work history • Provide care for patients with acute and subacute ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subdural hematomas, craniotomies, carotid procedures, seizures, and multi-organ failure • Manage ventilated patients, central lines, arterial lines, IV drips, and continuous sedation • Experience required with airway management, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions, and computerized documentation • Work with specialized equipment including extraventricular drains, lumbar drains, CRRT, Arctic Sun, and ventilators • Perform TNK administration and pre/post cath lab care for thrombectomies and stents • Must be located more than 75 miles from facility to qualify as traveler Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 19-bed Neuro ICU providing specialized care for patients with complex neurological conditions.
