Details 16-bed mixed medical ICU serving adult and geriatric patients including trauma, neurosurgical, and general medical cases Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 in the ICU Remote and on-unit telemetry monitoring Uses Epic EMR 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week Weekend requirement of 6 shifts per 6-week schedule Floating required to other AdventHealth Regional Medical Region (RMR) facilities as needed (Avista, Castle Rock, Littleton, Parker, Porter) with at least 2 hours notice prior to shift May also float to the adjacent Cardiac and Stroke unit with a maximum 3:1 patient ratio No on-call requirement Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travel rate Requirements Active CO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required TCAR certification required prior to start COVID vaccination card required Additional Information Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue Nurses who call off on a weekend or holiday should be prepared to be scheduled on another weekend or holiday per facility policy Willingness to float between multiple AdventHealth locations in the region is required American Traveler Job ID P-686557.
