Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/20/2026 Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 4x8 PM shifts from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM • No on-call responsibilities • Weekend rotation required • 24 hours of orientation • Patient ratios of 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends • Care for adult and geriatric patients • Float as needed to PCU, Med/Surg Tele, or VNC units • May float to other facility locations if census is low on home unit • 3 years of ICU experience required, 4 years preferred • 2 years minimum experience required for submission • Previous charge experience preferred • Required certifications: California RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS, NIHSS • Additional certifications: TNCC, CCRN preferred • Epic charting system experience required • All certifications must be AHA and in hand at time of submittal • 7-year work history verification required • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • 50 miles travel requirement applies • Complete non-billable modules during orientation (1-5 hours average) • Work with specialized equipment including FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, CVVHD/CRRT, pulmonary artery lines, ventilators, and external ventricular drains Facility: This healthcare facility operates a 10-bed intensive care unit with a daily census of 7 patients, providing critical care services for adults and geriatric populations.
