A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • 2 years of nursing experience required with travel experience mandatory • Patient ratio experience of 2-3 patients • Must be willing to float to Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, and Emergency Room for critical care holds • Weekend coverage required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC or TCAR, NIHSS, and EKG course completion • Must complete 6 hours of stroke education (can be provided if needed) • Charting system experience required with Cerner experience preferred • Must care for patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics • Daily census of 15 patients in a 20-bed unit • Trauma Level II experience preferred • Community hospital experience preferred • Must maintain 50-mile radius requirement (local candidates not accepted) • One pre-approved time off day per contract • Required to work with interdisciplinary support teams including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams Facility: This medical center operates a 20-bed intensive care unit providing critical care services to the community.
