Details Work in a 6-bed ICU unit within an acute care, Magnet-designated hospital Care for critically ill adult patients with 1:1 or 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratios Night shifts (3x12 hours), including every other weekend Floating to Medical Cardiology or Med/Surg units may be required within scope Uses EPIC charting system No on-call responsibilities Requirements Active IL RN license required at the time of consideration (no pending licenses accepted) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU RN experience outside of orientation Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS EPIC EMR experience required Must reside outside a 75-mile radius from the facility First-time travelers accepted No previous permanent employment at the facility within the past year Additional Information Provide care for high-acuity patients with support from Tele-ICU intensivist consultants Must be self-motivated and able to work autonomously; may serve as relief charge nurse Up to 7 days of RTO allowed per 13-week contract, but not permitted during the first week of orientation Navy scrubs required No local candidates accepted Holiday coverage may be required as scheduled American Traveler Job ID P-674256.
