Schedule 7a-7p / 7p-7a - 3 days per week, with variable shifts scheduled as needed by client, every other weekend, and holiday shifts. Job Description The ICU Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. The role requires versatility in handling shifts and ensuring the best outcome for patients through teamwork, effective communication, and clinical expertise. Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care for patients in the ICU. Monitor and document patient responses and vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families. Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State. Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required through the RQI system during clinical orientation. NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification. Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 90 days of hire.
