Opportunity: RN - ICU Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • 36 weekly guaranteed hours • Rotating schedule with every other weekend required • No call requirements • Required certifications: ACLS and BLS • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Float within CTICU/ICU and progressive units as needed • Work in 14-bed Medical Surgical ICU with 2:1 patient ratio (maximum 3:1) • Care for patients including fresh post-operative CABG, neuro ventrics, lumbar drains, prolonged ventilation or high oxygen demands, sepsis, TNK/stroke patients, and CRRT • Use equipment including Alaris pumps, Prismaflex CRRT machines, IABP Abbott, and Omnicell medication dispensing • Document in EPIC electronic medical record system • Dress code requires black scrubs • Contract duration of 13 weeks (up to 26 weeks upon request) • Up to 5 days time off can be automatically approved in each 13-week period • Expected to work at least one major summer or winter holiday • Flu vaccination required from November 1 - April 1 Facility: This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that provides comprehensive critical care services.
