Details 10-bed ICU in a hospital setting, with occasional med-surg overflow Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Patient ratio of 1:2–3, dependent on patient acuity and clinician experience No floating required No on-call requirements No block scheduling 13-week contract Requirements Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of assignment Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required Proficiency in vent management, critical drips, and post-cath lab care required Experience as a primary nurse in a CCU setting required Valid driver's license required No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Additional Information Responsibilities include vent management, administration of critical drips, post-cath lab patient care, and serving as primary nurse in a CCU-level environment Scrubs must be any solid color RTO requests must be less than one week in duration; maximum of 36 hours of RTO allowed per contract Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position A valid driver's license is required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-682519.
