Job Details Location: Laurinburg, NC (28352) Assignment Length: 13 weeks Start Date: April 13, 2026 End Date: July 13, 2026 Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Hours per Week: 36 Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel RN Unit: ICU (floats to PCU/stepdown as needed) Patient Ratio: 2:1 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1750-$1840 Job Requirements / Qualifications Minimum 1 year of ICU RN experience; Critical Care RN or ICU Registered Nurse experience preferred Previous charge experience required Valid RN license (State license or Compact) for North Carolina or eligible for compact practice Travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers welcome Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS EPIC charting system experience strongly preferred Two professional references from supervisors within the last two years COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) Locals accepted at a lower rate (within 50 miles) Responsibilities / Clinical Duties Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in the ICU and PCU/stepdown units as a Critical Care RN Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and organ failure Interpret and manage dysrhythmias; titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips Perform and manage arterial lines, central/PICC line care, and blood product administration Care for ventilated patients, manage BiPAP/CPAP, and interpret ABGs and ventilator waveforms Administer emergency medications and assist with procedural sedation Assist with post-cardiac surgery, GI surgery, and acute/chronic renal failure cases Maintain infection prevention and isolation precautions and adhere to hospital policies Float within the hospital to support other units as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams Benefits & Highlights 13-week travel nursing assignment in Laurinburg, North Carolina Night shift opportunity with potential differential Estimated weekly pay: $1750-$1840 Competitive pay and travel nurse benefits available Supportive team environment for ICU Registered Nurses and Critical Care RNs First-time travelers welcome; locals accepted within 50 miles Apply now to be considered for this ICU RN travel assignment in Laurinburg, NC.
