Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a 4x12 schedule • Float between ICU and IMC units as needed, with additional floating to ED and Med Surg as required • Maintain 1:4 patient ratios during days, nights, and weekends • Work 6 weekend shifts (Saturday or Sunday) within a six-week period • ICU experience required with MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience mandatory • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms • Experience required with PCU/IMC/Stepdown, post cardiac procedures, IV insulin protocols, chest tubes, wound care, telemetry monitoring, central line management, ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP, and high flow nasal cannula • Care for adult and geriatric patients with cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and GI/GU diagnoses • Work with specialized equipment including ventilators, non-titratable IV drips, HFNC, and dialysis equipment • 24-hour orientation period provided • Self-scheduling system with one pre-approved time off request allowed • Must have compact license or Maryland license (pending Maryland license may be accepted) • Complete facility-specific Sitel modules within one week of contract signing • Flu vaccine required with no exemptions Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive critical care program featuring both ICU and intermediate care units.
