A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Adult Stepdown Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM • Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation • No guarantee of hours • Float between various medical and surgical units including Medical Unit, Laulima Unit, and Cardiovascular Unit (on rare occasions) • 2-10 years of nursing experience required • Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • Preferred certifications: PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC • Work with Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes • Nurse to patient ratios vary by unit: Medical 1:8 for nights, Laulima 1:6, Cardiovascular 1:4 • Professional nursing attire required - clean scrubs • Must arrive Thursday before start date for employee health appointment on Friday • Orientation provided for each unit Facility: This medical center is a comprehensive healthcare facility offering a wide range of medical and surgical services.
