Details Work in a busy hospital Emergency Department setting Handles all patient types including trauma, psych, pediatric, urgent care, and complex critical care Three 12-hour night shifts each week Assignment duration is 13 weeks No local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius Must perform advanced procedures such as medication titrations, arterial lines, mass blood transfusions, and chest tubes Requirements Active DC RN license is required Minimum two years of recent ER experience in a US hospital Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved nursing program BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS (AHA certifications only) are required CPI certification is required BSN degree is highly desired Travel experience is preferred No pending licenses accepted US Social Security Number is required for consideration Additional Information Emergency nurses coordinate and deliver care for complex patient conditions in a fast-paced environment Responsibilities include use of critical care skills with a diverse patient population Team support and coordinated care are essential in this role References from two managers or supervisors from the past twelve months are preferred Candidates must be able to provide proof of COVID and flu vaccination if required Scrub or dress code details will be provided upon assignment American Traveler Job ID P-666050.
