Details Emergency Department (ED) at a Level 1 Trauma hospital Day shift schedule: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week) 2 on-call shifts required per 6-week schedule period; call shifts are 13 hours with an expectation to be onsite within 1 hour A mandatory 2-week nights rotation is required for all travelers Epic EMR; experience required Requirements Active IL RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all American Heart Association) Minimum 1 year of ED nursing experience required Epic EMR experience required Level 1 Trauma experience required ASN required; BSN preferred English proficiency (speaking, reading, and writing) required Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Additional Information Responsibilities include ED-specific patient assessment, care plan development in collaboration with providers and families, executing and modifying nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate patient documentation Candidates who have been on assignment at any Carle Health location for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break in service before returning RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract American Traveler Job ID P-685628.
