A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • 48-hour guarantee available • Must be willing to float to other units as needed • 2 years of nursing experience required • Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available) • Cerner EMR experience required • Black scrubs required for dress code • Provide care to Emergency Room patients utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in emergency situations • Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education • Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience • Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel • Work in a 38-bed emergency department • Trauma Level III certified facility • Stroke receiving and STEMI receiving capabilities • NIH certification recommended but not required Facility: This medical center operates a comprehensive emergency department with 38 beds and maintains Trauma Level III certification.
