Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed • Floating to other units required • Charge nurse capability highly preferred • Must wear navy blue scrubs • 2 years of emergency department experience required with some pediatric experience • Travel experience required • Active New York nursing license required • Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC (must be in hand) • EPIC electronic medical record experience required • Care for patients ranging from newborns to geriatric populations • Handle common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure • Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun • Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage areas, 40 acute beds, 6 super track beds, 2 trauma bays, 10 clinical decision unit beds, and 6 psychiatric beds Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 64-bed emergency department providing critical care services to diverse patient populations.
