Opportunity: RN - ED ER Job Details: • Work 12.5-hour shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM • Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed • Floating to other units required • Charge capability highly preferred • Must wear navy blue scrubs • 2 years of ED experience with pediatric experience required • Travel experience required • Must live 75 miles from facility for travel rate (locals accepted at local rate) • Required certifications: AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC • Active NY nursing license required with NURSYS verification • EPIC EMR experience required • Care for patients ranging from newborn to geriatric populations • Manage common diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure • Work with specialty equipment including rapid infusor and Arctic Sun • Administer critical drips and medications including pressors, vasodilators, anti-arrhythmics, and sedation medications • Work in 64-bed emergency department with 2 triage, 40 acute care, 6 super track, 2 trauma, 10 CDU, and 6 psych beds Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive 64-bed emergency department that provides critical care services to diverse patient populations from newborns to geriatrics.
