Details Emergency Department setting with 29 beds plus 8 hallway beds Patient ratio of 1:4 Night shift schedule, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM 13-week contract EMR: Cerner (experience preferred) One major and one minor holiday coverage may be required Schedule will be arranged as close/block as possible while meeting weekend requirements Requirements Active GA or Compact RN license required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ESI Level 5 training — no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date TNCC preferred Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department RN experience required At least 2 prior travel assignments successfully completed required Cerner EMR experience preferred Valid driver's license required US Social Security Number required Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Responsible for delivering patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using the Nursing Process Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes Demonstrates critical thinking, clinical leadership, and delegation of patient care priorities based on staff education and experience Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education Navy scrubs required RTO requests must be less than one week in duration Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position First-time travelers are not eligible for this position — a minimum of 2 completed travel assignments is required American Traveler Job ID P-686561.
