Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Inpatient Job Details: • Work variable 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (schedule to be discussed at interview) • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Alternating weekend schedule required • No call requirements • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required • Strong medical-surgical experience required • BLS certification required • EPIC experience highly preferred, ACLS preferred • Must wear black scrubs as per dress code requirements • Float requirements include customary floating to any inpatient unit • Work in 8-bed Inpatient Observation Unit within Emergency Department • Coordinate, plan, direct, and implement nursing process for patient care in medical-surgical setting • Process high volume of admissions • Care for typical ER observation and admission patients • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • Must be a team player, willing to help, pleasant and caring towards patient outcomes Facility: This healthcare facility is a 245-bed Level 3 Emergency and Trauma Center that offers comprehensive medical services to the community.
