A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call • Maintain 1:1 patient ratios for optimal patient care • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS • Must have open heart and cardiothoracic service line experience - candidates without these skills will not be considered • Float to other operating rooms when no open heart surgeries are scheduled • Work with other service lines including trauma, general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, and plastics • Perform typical procedures including CABG (with and without EVH), Impellas, pericardial windows, valve replacements, and ECMO • Use standard OR equipment and Meditech EMR system • Navy blue scrub attire required • Must demonstrate dependability and flexibility • Call assistance provided for holidays • Float within operating room areas as needed Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery program with 457 beds and 14 operating rooms, including one dedicated open heart room with plans to expand to two open heart rooms.
