Job Details — CVOR Travel RN | Columbus healthcare jobs Location: Columbus, OH 43210 (near Ohio State University) Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (April 20, 2026 – July 20, 2026) Position: CVOR RN / Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse / Operating Room RN Shift: Evening shifts (5x8-hour, 2:30pm–11:00pm OR 2x8-hour & 2x12-hour, 10:30am–11:00pm / 2:30pm–11:00pm) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,760–$2,900/week On-Site: Yes Call Duties: Required for weekdays and weekends; equitably distributed Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics Unit: CVOR, Operating Room RN (Days/Evenings) Qualifications / Job Requirements — Registered Nurse CVOR Minimum 3 years overall OR experience (Operating Room experience) At least 2 years dedicated cardiac, vascular, and transplant experience Minimum 1 year CVOR experience Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission) — Ohio nursing license acceptable BLS and NIHSS certifications required Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Experience with EPIC electronic health record (EPIC charting) Two professional references (one manager/director or formal leadership; second may be a Charge RN) Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Responsibilities — Perioperative CVOR Nurse / Surgical Nurse Provide expert perioperative care for cardiac, vascular, and transplant surgical patients Assist in complex procedures including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, AAA, TAVR, EVAR, and other cardiovascular surgeries Participate in in-house weekend rotation and equitable call schedule Utilize EPIC for accurate charting, documentation, and communication with interdisciplinary teams Maintain infection control, laser, and radiation safety protocols Handle specimen labeling, universal protocol procedures, and wound management Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiology, perfusion, and critical care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adhere to all compliance and credentialing requirements, including timely fingerprinting Experience Columbus while advancing your career in a high-acuity CVOR.
