Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - CVOR Job Details: • Work a combination of two 8-hour shifts (6:50 AM - 3:20 PM) and two 12-hour shifts (6:50 AM - 7:20 PM) weekly • On-call responsibilities typically 8 days per month, ranging from 5-14 days depending on vacations • Work 1.5 weekends per schedule • Weekend shifts include 24-hour on-call coverage when scheduled • Must have BLS certification • ACLS and NIHSS not required • Current Michigan State Board of Nursing licensure required • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred • Provide leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care • Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Delegate, supervise, and document patient care and family teaching • Communicate pertinent patient/family information to healthcare team • Participate in finding solutions for variances from patient goals • Must possess clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans • Ability to perform wide variety of professional nursing services • Must effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive cardiovascular and surgical services with a focus on delivering quality compassionate patient care.
