Details 18-bed CVICU/CICU unit in an academic hospital setting High-acuity patient population with specialty equipment needs; highest acuity cases are prioritized for core staff Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Block scheduling options available: 6 days on / 8 days off, or every weekend (Friday–Sunday) Floating required within the ICU cluster and Med/Surg & Med/Surg Telemetry units (1:4 ratio when floating to MS/MS-Tele) 50% of assigned holidays required Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required Requirements Active MO or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, OR 1 year of Level 1 CTICU experience Cerner EMR experience preferred Ability to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs 2 professional references required for consideration Any requested RTO must be submitted at time of application Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but at a reduced pay rate Position is in a 24/7 healthcare facility; rotating shifts, holiday coverage, and availability during inclement weather are expected Role involves routine contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses American Traveler Job ID P-685826.
