Details Position is in a hospital Cath Lab unit within a cardiology department Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) Every other weekend required On-call required 2 out of every 4 weeks: weeknights 7:30 PM–7:00 AM and 24-hour on-call on weekends Floating within cardiology is expected, with rare float to a sister facility Equipment used includes Merge Hemodynamics, ACIST, IABP, temporary pacers, Philips Azurion, IVUS, EKOS, CSI, and thrombectomy devices Charting is done in Epic Requirements Active NJ or Compact RN license required at time of consideration Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required; 3 years preferred (candidates with strong 2-year backgrounds from high-volume labs will be considered) Circulation experience required Scrub experience preferred Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Any schedule accommodation requests must be submitted and approved prior to offer Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment SSN and DOB are required for consideration Two current professional references are required for consideration American Traveler Job ID P-686966.
