Details Hospital-based Cath Lab unit serving an adult to geriatric patient population Average daily census of 8–10 patients across 3 rooms with 5 beds Required skills include circulating procedures, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and procedural sedation administration and monitoring EMR: Epic; also uses Pyxis and SBAR documentation Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) Every third weekend required Approximately 10 call days per month required Floating within facility scope of practice as needed; possibility of floating to a sister campus location Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required Copies of required certifications must be provided for consideration Two supervisory references (manager level or above; charge nurses not accepted) are highly preferred for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are accepted Scrubs are provided by the facility RTO maximum is 7 days; RTO cannot be requested during the first week of the assignment If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work all of them with no holiday RTO permitted; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler must work two and may request one holiday off for approval Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday (counted as one), Christmas Eve/Christmas Day (counted as one), and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day (counted as one) No special scheduling requests or alternate shifts are permitted Travelers who have previously worked at any facility in this health system must have been away for a full year before returning as a traveler No schedule conflicts or alternate shift requests will be accommodated American Traveler Job ID P-682266.
