Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/06/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM • 12 call shifts per six week schedule with weekend call twice during that time (every third weekend) • Weekend coverage every other weekend • Patient population spans pediatrics through geriatrics • Documentation using EPIC system • Minimum 3 years of experience required, no first-time travelers • Trauma Level I experience required • Must have Interventional Radiology (IR) experience • Previous charge experience preferred • Travel experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH (NIHSS) • Preferred certifications: AWHONN Advanced/Intermediate, CCRN, CPI, PALS • Work with patient diagnoses including STEMI, stroke, and trauma cases • General skills include circulating, conscious sedation, pulmonary artery lines, scrubbing, telemetry, triage, and ventilator management • Experience required with specialized equipment: Balloon Pump, Impella, Rapid Infusion, ICP monitoring • Perform various procedures including diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, stent placement, TAVR, and interventional radiology procedures • 24 hours of orientation provided • COVID vaccination required with booster • Flu vaccination required Facility: This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology department providing advanced cardiovascular and interventional services.
