You’ll work directly with providers on everything from diagnostic caths to advanced interventional cases , making this a strong role for maintaining and expanding your skillset. Job Overview Specialty: Cath Lab RN Schedule: 4x10s (Day Shift) Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Setting: Acute Care Hospital / Cath Lab What You’ll Be Doing Assist with: Diagnostic & interventional cath procedures PCI, stents, angioplasty Impella & IABP support Pacemakers & ICDs EP procedures and cardioversions Perform circulating, monitoring, and sedation support Manage hemodynamics and cardiac rhythms Work closely with a small, collaborative Cath Lab team Why This Role Stands Out 4x10 schedule = consistent hours balance Full-scope Cath Lab experience (not siloed) Smaller hospital = more autonomy hands-on experience Great for RNs who want to stay sharp across all cardiac procedures Tight-knit team environment What They’re Looking For Active RN license (TX or Compact) BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Minimum 2 years Cath Lab experience Comfortable with: Interventional procedures Hemodynamics Cardiac devices (Impella, IABP, pacemakers) Travel experience strongly preferred Experience with MedHost or MacLab preferred Schedule & Call 4x10 day shifts On-call required (weekends weekdays) Schedule may flex based on case volume 65-bed community hospital 1 Cath Lab room (very hands-on role) Patient population: adult/geriatric Equipment includes Philips imaging Merge Hemo EMR: Allscripts No local candidates (150-mile rule) Facility conducts on-site drug screen (includes marijuana – must be negative) Fast onboarding timeline—labs required within 72 hours of offer Ideal candidates are independent, adaptable, and confident in a smaller setting About Care Career Care Career brings together a portfolio of leading healthcare staffing organizations, each delivering specialized talent solutions across the industry.
