Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 04/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Cath Lab Job Details: • Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM • 1:1 patient ratio providing individualized care • Weekend call requirement: one weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month • Weekly call requirement: one weekday call shift per week • Call requirements may change based on staffing needs • 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • EP/Cath experience required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS • South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start • Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency • Hospital-issued scrubs provided for Cath Lab • Epic charting system experience • Work with adult and geriatric patients • Handle approximately 20 cases daily in 5-room unit • Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, electrophysiology procedures, cardiac stent placement • Experience with Impella insertion, interventional catheterizations, procedural sedation • Work with specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks based on census • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment possible June through November Facility: This 304-bed acute care hospital provides comprehensive cardiac services with a state-of-the-art catheterization laboratory.
