A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work 9-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM • Four 9-hour shifts per week schedule • Call requirements approximately one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week • 30-minute call back time requirement • Plus call and late stays as needed • NH nursing license must be in hand at time of submittal • Must have cardiac, vascular, and thoracic operating room experience • Punctuality and flexible schedule required • Preferred ability to scrub cardiac and vascular cases • Experience with Meditech EMR preferred • Work with open heart, vascular, and thoracic equipment • Perform procedures including CABG, valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO • Provide Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures • Patient ratios of 3 staff members per OR • Scrubs provided by facility • Time off requests must be included in contract • Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible Facility: This regional medical center features a comprehensive cardiovascular surgery department with 3 operating room suites on the 2nd floor of the main building. The CVOR unit operates with an experienced team of 11 staff members, including dedicated day shift teams and a 3-member call team for nights. The facility provides advanced cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical services with state-of-the-art equipment and maintains a close-knit team environment where many members have worked together for nearly 20 years.
