Opportunity: RN - Cardiovascular Surgery Job Details: • Work day shifts from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM with call and late stay requirements • Call requirement approximately one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week • Must have NH license in hand at time of submittal • Work in 3-suite cardiovascular operating room unit with 11 staff members • Patient ratio of 3 staff members per OR • Must have cardiac, vascular, and thoracic operating room experience • Required skills include punctuality and 30-minute call back time with flexible schedule • Preferred qualifications include ability to scrub cardiac and vascular cases and experience with Meditech EMR • Handle procedures including CABG, valves, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, fistula creation/interventions, VATS, thoracotomy, fem-pop bypass, angiograms with interventions, LVAD, RVAD, ECMO • Provide Level 2 trauma coverage for all vascular and thoracic procedures • Work with open heart, vascular, and thoracic equipment using Meditech EMR system • Scrubs provided by facility • Time off requests must be included in contract • Must be self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible Facility: This regional medical center operates a specialized cardiovascular operating room unit with 3 OR suites and a dedicated team of 11 staff members. The unit maintains 24/7 coverage with a 3-person on-call team consisting of 2 RNs and a scrub technician, ensuring comprehensive patient care for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures.
