A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work in Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic ICU (CVICU) with CVICU experience preferred • Patient ratio of 1:2 across all shifts • 36 or 48 contracted hours per week available • Weekend coverage as needed • May float to other ICUs, PCU floors, ED to care for admitted patients, PACU to care for admitted patients • 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted • No on-call requirements • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS • 72 hours of orientation • Black scrubs required • Cerner charting system experience preferred • Care for post-operative open heart patients, bedside procedures, CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella patients • Manage complex equipment including Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines, CVCs, chest tubes • Handle patient diagnoses including CABG, aortic aneurysm repair, cardiac arrest, heart failure, sepsis • Work with specialized equipment: CRRT, Hemosphere, Phillips monitors, ECMO, ZOLL, Glidescope • Overtime after 48 hours with prior approval required • Minimum 10-week contract requirement • No locals within 100-mile radius accepted • Pending license accepted at time of submission Facility: This is a Level I Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 554 total staffed beds, featuring a comprehensive children's hospital and short-term acute care services.
