Details 18-bed Cardiac ICU (CICU/CVICU) unit in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30 Flexible scheduling options include Fri–Sun or 6 on/8 off rotations May be scheduled every other weekend 50% of holidays encountered during the contract are required, including Memorial Day Floating required within an ICU cluster and Med/Surg & MS/Tele units (1:4 ratio when floating to MS) Highest acuity and specialty equipment patients are managed by core staff Cerner charting experience preferred but not required Requirements Active MO or compact RN license currently in hand (no pending licenses) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, or 1 year of Level 1 CTICU experience At least 1 year of experience in the ICU specialty required 2 professional references required for consideration Must be able to ambulate, reach, and lift/move objects weighing 20 lbs or more Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates are eligible to apply; candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced pay rate Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to placement Role involves routine exposure to patients with contagious illnesses in a 24/7 healthcare environment American Traveler Job ID P-685841.
